About Dr. Shahina Parveen
Dr. Shahina is a Social Development Professional with more than 20 years of working experience in the field of education, Health and Child Protection Worked with Parivar Seva, Educomp Solution Ltd, Learning links foundation Actionaid & TAABAR. She is a Former member of District Child Welfare Committee(A bench of magistrates), appointed by the state government under sec 29 of Juvenile Justice Act, 2000 responsible for implementation and monitoring of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2000, from October 2012 to Jan 2016 , Founder Secretary of Armaan Society, Member of TAABAR society, Co Convenor of Rajasthan Multi Stakeholder Forum, Member of Pool of Resource person by Child Resource Center & Member of Campaign Against Child Labour (CACL).
She is a Gold Medalist (Kota University Topper , Received felicitation by Narayan Seva Sansthan Kota for dedicated work in Child Protection Field and Social Development Sector , She was honored by Kota District Administration in 2013 and 2014 for outstanding work in the field of social work and child protection , Conferred with the award for one of the dedicated woman in the field of Social Development Sector by Rotary Padmini Club Kota in 2012. Her interview was aired on ETV Rajasthan in the programme Sangini on women empowerment.
She is a PHD Holder for her thesis on Street Children “TALE OF HOMELESSNESS” (A Sociological Study Of Four Major Cities Of Rajasthan – Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, & Jodhpur).
