We believe that volunteers and interns are vital to the Not-for-Profit Organization. Their skills, knowledge and ideas strengthen the organization. Their active participation and contribution save the millions of the NFP. They are an asset to increase the visibility of the organization with innovative ideas. In fact, volunteers are excellent prospective donors. Hence, we harness the culture of volunteers and interns to contribute to society and strengthen the efforts of not-for -profit organizations.

We welcome talented and motivated individuals to join our volunteer and internship programme. We provide opportunities to design your career and give an opportunity to contribute to ABCD Welfare Foundation’s mission. We are committed to diversity and encourage applications from all qualified candidates.

Presently we are providing this opportunity to Indian individuals who are interested in volunteering and internship.

Volunteer placement, apprenticeship or internship

You can join this program as a volunteer, apprentice or intern. As a volunteer you are free to commit any number of hours per week. That’s up to you! As an apprentice or intern however, you probably have to fulfil requirements set by your school or university. Please inform us of your school or university internship requirements in advance so that we can work out your personalized work plan together. Also tell us about your personal expectations and goals. We are happy to give students’ academic credit or provide a report outlining the learning outcomes and deliverables achieved during the placement.

Community Services

  • Survey and Research
  • Need assessment
  • Psycho social support to the children and parents (family counselling, pre-marital counselling, Adolescent counselling etc)
  • Preparing a compendium of the rights, entitlements and government schemes for the children incapacitate parents or engaged in awkward jobs and not able to secure the Right to education of the children
  • Developing educational tools and designing educational activities for the children in need of care and protection or street children, railway children, child labourers by using pedagogy to generate the interest towards the education for their transformation
  • Teaching kids of government-run or low-income private schools
  • Online or offline skill building class (candle making, folk art, gift wrapping, paper bag making, file folder making, crochet, embroidery hand or machine, jewellery making
  • Marketing skills online and offline
  • Facilitating the market linkages
  • Session various social issues and women rights
  • Menstrual hygiene and Management sessions
  • Training and sensitization sessions on gender equity.

Organizational Growth

  • Enhancing the visibility of the organization on various social media platforms by creating online events, competition etc.
  • Creating Blog and vlog, Facebook page, Instagram, twitter handle
  • Making educational videos on child rights, environment protection, child protection issues, road safety, health issues etc/
  • Making digital presentation of the status of children, women, street men
  • Creating awareness in slum areas and footpath, roads, streets
  • Photographs and/or video documentation and report, interview, write and edit content related to our programs
  • Use Multimedia content to connect people emotionally to pressing social, gender and environmental causes
  • Write blog posts, articles, newsletters and other communication materials which can include a mix of media such as written content, videos, images and podcasts
  • Assist with expanding our online presence improving functionality and SEO for our webpage and social media communication
